Since the mounted fish permissions have been modified that only the owner or married partner of the owner can pick up and relocate mounted fish it is causing a couple of disturbances in some areas where people have salvaged property via the DPPRA/ECA acts and "disposed" of mounted fish by dropping them. However the mounted fish are a permanent display item and do not show their ownership, making it impossible to track down their owners to ask if they can kindly pick up their displays or relocate them if they are in an inappropriate location. So I would like to propose the following for a feature request:
1) Mounted fish displays will display their owner like otters to make it easier for people to contact owners for their collection if they are needlessly littering landscapes.
2) Mounted fish displays will be subject to the same DPPRA/ECA rules of reclaiming or salvaging should their owners be classified as quit or expired as stated by the DPPRA/ECA acts, no items will be recovered by salvaging.
I would like some feedback and suggestions on wording such a request before I subject it to a university of leadership please.
Thank you for reading.
