flashing screen then the crash

Postby Philly » Sun Feb 07, 2010 7:05 pm

So, as of today, i log in to game, am on for a few hours, when the monitor begins flashing the game screen, then everything freezes and I can't do anything in game or on computer. I got out, rebooted, I am on for two minutes, then the same thing. I then defragged the computer, tried it again. Same issue. I then reloaded the graphics card driver(GEforce 8500GT), logged in. Same thing. I tried rebooting several times, nothing works. AND nothing else gives me this problem. :drunk: I have now been on several applications on this machine (on and offline) and no problems-only the game gives me this issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks!

also uninstalled game and reinstalled it.
The Game plays fine on Hubby's Mac/IBM computer with none of these issues.

i know you were all just dying to know what happened here. :bomb:
graphic card was on the verge of a breakdown. only the game was affected initially, then everything. Gonna go pick up a new card in the next few days.

If you get a new NVIDIA card, DONT use the latest 197. drivers. Stick with 196.21 the .78 drivers caused newer video cards to overheat. (I just checked the new drivers were pulled... Good)
