We are a city in the region of Meroe, located south of the University of Art, around three beautiful lakes.

We are followers of Akhenaton, raised to Pharaoh as Amenhotep IV. The city of Akhetaton means Horizon of Aton and will be a beautiful city in Egypt, freely patronizing the arts and public service. Please feel free to ask about our community, the worship of Aton and join the city if you like.

Pharaoh Amenhotep IV of the 18th dynasty brought worship of the god Aton to the black and red lands. This religion centered upon the belief that all men were created equal and that all should live in harmony. Radical acts stemming from this worship, such as freeing the slaves from the mines, discouraging war and giving land directly to the men who tilled it, caused chaotic change to the structure of society and resulted in economic and diplomatic turmoil.

This led to his being referred to as "the enemy" by successors and his reign widely removed from record. Upon becoming Pharaoh, he changed his name to Akhenaton, "servant of Aton," and founded a new capitol city, Akhetaton, meaning "Horizon of Aton."

Unlike the strict dictates in the former capitol of Thebes, arts were not only patronized but allowed extraordinary freedom. The new worship also led to a wide acceptance of other expressions of human individuality. His primary consort and queen, Nefertiti, is depicted in roles normally reserved exclusively to Pharaoh and their affection for each other is often seen in surviving art.

Despite this, Nefertiti's name disappears from the record toward the end of his reign and he is shown naked with the ruler Smenkhkare, possibly co-regent and successor, leading to speculation that he may have been bisexual. He is also depicted as an androgynous embodiment of Aton, believed to be both mother and father of all humankind.

Akhenaton has been called the first monotheist, first scientist and first romantic. While the changes wrought during his reign barely outlasted his death, he brought at the very least a beautiful dream to Egypt.

We are followers of Akhenaton, raised to Pharaoh as Amenhotep IV. The city of Akhetaton means Horizon of Aton and will be a beautiful city in Egypt, freely patronizing the arts and public service. Please feel free to ask about our community, the worship of Aton and join the city if you like.

Pharaoh Amenhotep IV of the 18th dynasty brought worship of the god Aton to the black and red lands. This religion centered upon the belief that all men were created equal and that all should live in harmony. Radical acts stemming from this worship, such as freeing the slaves from the mines, discouraging war and giving land directly to the men who tilled it, caused chaotic change to the structure of society and resulted in economic and diplomatic turmoil.

This led to his being referred to as "the enemy" by successors and his reign widely removed from record. Upon becoming Pharaoh, he changed his name to Akhenaton, "servant of Aton," and founded a new capitol city, Akhetaton, meaning "Horizon of Aton."

Unlike the strict dictates in the former capitol of Thebes, arts were not only patronized but allowed extraordinary freedom. The new worship also led to a wide acceptance of other expressions of human individuality. His primary consort and queen, Nefertiti, is depicted in roles normally reserved exclusively to Pharaoh and their affection for each other is often seen in surviving art.

This macro is designed for collecting Slate. Follow the steps below to start collecting.

*1. Download the Macro file and save it to your computer

*2. Once downloaded run the macro

(Please Note: If you are running Vista you will have to make sure you select "Run as Administrator" otherwise Vista blocks the mouse click)

*3. Firstly find a piece of slate yourself but do NOT collect it. Make sure that your mouse is over the Slate Icon (Its the point of the mouse)

*4. Press ''Control + 1'' to set the location of the icon (Your Computer will beep once it has read the location)

*5. Press ''Control + s'' to start collecting

*6. Now all you have to do is run along the coast and you will start collecting slate

I do know that sometimes the Slate Macro misses the slate icon and clicks to move you away. I think this is because you run across only a
small part of the co-ordinates with the slate so the slate icon is only shown for Millisecond (Please do not contact me about this issue)

Meroe Desert Obelisk Queue

This is the queue for the initial obelisk rush in Meroe. Since we aren't totally sure of anything required yet, this page will not initially list the height required -- simply the position in line. I'll update it to add heights when that information becomes available.

Here are the rules: You _must_ be ready to build within 15 minutes of your turn in the queue, or you get jumped. Keeping track of the queue is your responsibility, but it'd be real neighborly of you to notify the next person when you pass. Make a note after your name on this page to let people know you've passed, just to help keep things organized.

As with last tale, Oby's start at 7 cubits tall. Since this is the principle height, the queue starts at 8 cubits.

Currently this Queue is 40 people long or over 3 real life months of buildings assuming everyone builds exactly back to back with no interruptions.
