Nile Green is a strain of [[Flax|flax]] which is randomly available for free from any [[School of Art]]. Along with [[Old Egypt]], Nile Green is one of the two flax strains available to anyone at the start of the game.

== Cultivation ==

Nile Green flax beds must be weeded twice, and the first weeding also requires 1 [[water in jugs|water]].

Upon maturity, Nile Green yields 2 flax per bed. Nile Green is therefore a more productive strain than Old Egypt, but growing it in bulk requires access to water and a healthy collection of [[Jugs|jugs]].
