		+	when you cut a gem you can put the example up on the pole so you can see what you are trying to do

		+	put gem on table ... turn it around looking for the side that is the smoothest
		+
		+	1. (S) cut to get the front side smooth - may take a couple of cuts (S)
		+
		+	2. (K x2) turn the gem around so you are now looking at the "back" side. Cut (S) the back until it is smooth and the piece is one layer thick
		+
		+	3. Trim (F) the corners - Roptate (L) so you do all four corners
		+
