 This seems like an inefficient way to handle this.  Google Maps may be nifty, but this sort of calculation doesn't need to be done client-side in bloated javascript, and people shouldn't have to edit a cumbersome text file.  My mining map is up [http://sokar.cwru.edu/atitd/mining.php here], and it's much faster.  It also lets you register certain mines under a login so that you can show only the mines you own, for example.  I'll be gone all this weekend, but I'm planning to import all the data here into that map once I get the chance.  --[[User:Dachannien|Dachannien]] 20:41, 31 December 2008 (EST)

 I've just finished importing all of the data from this map into [http://sokar.cwru.edu/atitd/mining.php my mining map].  Firefox has a lot of trouble on my laptop with the Google map because there are so many points, but since the map on my site constructs the image server-side, it runs a lot faster.  --[[User:Dachannien|Dachannien]] 13:06, 18 January 2009 (EST)
