It's possible that the pollution moves or that whatever effects people have been seeing or not seeing are effected by other things as well. For instance, I'm very close to water. If the poor soil message & lack of flax is due to depletion of ground water, I might not run into that because I'm near enough to water that it's replenished more quickly. This page doesn't mention any ecology tests that were done on areas that were effected either. So we don't know if it's showing heavy metals, acidity, ground water fluctuation or whatever it is we'll learn at ecology 4.
