 I see the DP role as that of a leader in our community. A role model on how people should act towards each other. I've always lived by the motto "treat people the same way that you would want other people to treat you." The more you help others out the more that others will be willing to help you out in time of need. The DP should be there once parties have realized there is no common  ground that can be settled on. The DP should be the person that is able to look at the problem from both sides and then be able to help each of the parties come to a compromise if needed. I hope that I can fill that position.

So I would rather change the question to "Do you think that I would be a good DP?" I realize that not everyone in the game has had contact with me and for them I can say that I personally think that Yes I would make a good DP.
