Ferry Boat at egypt 480 -6152 owned by Dreasimy

You approach the boat, for surely this must be THE boat. Long and narrow, made of wood but every inch painted or inlaid with gold, pearl, and gems. As you step onto the boat, what was a moment before, sunset in Queen's Retreat has altered. Darkness with a foreboding red glow descends around you and a new river, black as obsidian, appears below the boat, crossing over the Nile which is still there beneath this unnatural night. The previously empty boat has become more crowded. In the back of the boat, there stand two oars and, a man, the Guide of the Boat. In the center of the boat, a gilded seat where Ra is now seated, waiting. In the bottom of the boat, lies a shadowy form of Pharaoh, still as death. Most notable perhaps are the 12 snake goddesses swaying in dance and the 18 baboons that are singing.

"The River of Wernes..." you whisper and with your naming of the river of the underworld, the boat begins to move to the north (slightly northeast.) Ra says, "Our first task is to grant land rights, take me to the school where flax seeds are distributed."

(Head to the School of Art, the one north of the Chariot.)
