Dead Pharaohs Society

Guild Hall located in Queen's Retreat at 608, -6172 directly across from the Chariot Stop.

Dedicated to promoting the arts in Queens Retreat and cooperating with other artists Egypt-wide. We are dedicated to fostering art, gardening, viticulture, beer brewing, cooking, fumeology, pyrotechnics, glassmaking, blacksmithing, gem cutting, compound design, and other enjoyable pasttimes.

This artists consortium is affiliated with One Less Ear! An Egypt-wide guild dedicated to encouraging and teaching arts and creative skills to anyone who wishes to learn. One Less Ear! has a subguild in each region dedicated to furthering this purpose and to create a central artistic home for art and entertainment. Dead Pharaoh's Society is the subguild for the Queen's Retreat region.

Motto

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.... I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms..."
