[[requires::Papyrus]] can be dried on a [[requires::Drying Rack]] or a [[requires::Flax Hammock]] to produce [[Dried Papyrus]]. Each can dry only 20 papyrus at a time.

Drying Papyrus on a [[Flax Hammock]] takes approximately 4 minutes (no matter how much papy is drying).
Drying Papyrus on a [[Drying Rack]] takes approximately 22 minutes for a full load of 20 papy

If dried at high altitude, [[Papyrus Seeds (hf)]] will also be produced in the drying process. More accurately, the seeds ''can'' be produced at any location, but will be produced more consistently, and in greater quantities, at higher elevations. At sea level, the odds of getting seeds is '''very''' small.<br>
You get aprox 16 [[Ash]] when burning 100 Dried Papyrus in a Firepit without [[Stoking]] it

Uses:

*16 are required to build a [[produces::Stellae]] (NOT a Formal Garden Stella).
*200 can be woven into a [[produces::Baskets|basket]] on a [[Hand Loom]] or [[Student's Loom]].
*Can be added to a [[Firepit]] or [[Crematory]] to produce [[produces::ash]].
