How much limestone/soda is produced per dig depends on the springbox quality and tuning level: with a q7500 springbox and level 6 tuning, every 4 teppyminutes, 9 limestone is produced, and there is a chance to produce 9 soda as well. This chance seems to be roughly equal to the chance of digging up soda when chiseling limestone manually.
