I have a very strange recurring dream. I dream that somehow I am transported each night from a strange Oceanic paradise of the distant future, back to here, the cradle of civilization. This seems to happen for some purpose which I have yet to learn. The place I come from has the unlikely name of SeaLand, although some call it Aotearoa. It is a group of mountainous and volcanic islands, larger than most such in this huge ocean.
It is particularly odd because despite their vast differences, in that place and here in Egypt I feel at peace and at home.
In my family, it is told that my grandfather and great grandfather each had the same dream ...
