== Quick Info ==&lt;br /&gt;
The basis of this tool is that it will solve mines for you. All you do is input the information about each stone (e.g. stone 1 is red, and round, stone 2 is ...)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It seems like a lot to handle at first, but you just have to read this guide once, and then never worry about solving a mine again ;). I timed myself once and was able to mine 25,000 iron ore in 15 minutes. So, this tool is helpful for the easy ores and the hard ones (like silver).&lt;br /&gt;

== Guide ==&lt;br /&gt;
In order to make using the tool easier, I will give a description of my work flow.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
First I analyze the stones and try to find the easiest way to number them. This is often a pattern, like rows,  a spiral, or whatever seems easiest for the set of stones. You will find that this is the HARDEST part - keeping the stone number straight. That's why I suggest making a pattern that is natural for you.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You can see below two methods I usually use to number them.&lt;br /&gt;

In this example we'll be using the spiral numbering pattern.&lt;br /&gt;

Next, we need to identify the attributes of each stone. In this example, we're working copper, so we need to identify the stone color and stone shape.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I identify the three possible colors of copper as: Magenta, Green, Cyan which I abbreviate as M,G,C respectively.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I identify the stone shapes as a progression from flattest to tallest as a number from 1-4. You can see the pictures of this below.&lt;br /&gt;

So, for stone 1, the color is Magenta, stone 2 is Green, and so on. You can see them identified below&lt;br /&gt;

Next, we need to identify the stone type of each stone. Stone 1 is type 4, stone 2 is type 2, stone 3 is type 3, stone 4 is type 1.&lt;br /&gt;

Below we can see all the stones, numbers, and stone type.&lt;br /&gt;

I'm not sure how many people do this mentally when working stones, but I usually do - just not as structured as this method. The reason for this structure, is that now we enter this information into our Stone Crusher tool and it will tell us the workable combinations.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The columns numbered 1-14 identify the stone we are entering attributes for. The rows lettered A-D identify the attributes for each stone. When you select the type of ore you're working with, the columns/rows that don't apply to the stone are blanked out.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The reason the stones are the columns instead of the row is that I find it easier to focus on a single attribute and identify that attribute for all stones, and then work on the next attribute for all stones.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Below we can see the stone crusher filled out, and showing the possibilities for this data.&lt;br /&gt;

Keep in mind that you can use any method of entering the attribute information. If you prefer to type out names like &amp;quot;flat&amp;quot; or to just use a number, that's fine. As long as you're consistent with the information you enter this tool will work.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Also, to speed up entry, you can use the tab key. It's easiest if you have two screens, or have one screen big enough to have stone crusher and the game visible at the same time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For me, I usually position (and lock) the camera, and then look at the stones while typing (e.g.: 1 &amp;lt;TAB&amp;gt; 2 &amp;lt;TAB&amp;gt; 1 &amp;lt;TAB&amp;gt; 3 &amp;lt;TAB&amp;gt; etc.) because this will fill in each stone in order, and then move on to the next attribute.&lt;br /&gt;

Talescripts is a community driven project to develop, build and maintain a standard distribution of macros for ATITD.  The problem, currently, is that each macro user must piecemeal together scripts from various sources, and there's no automatic way to sync up and acquire new scripts and bugfixes.&lt;br /&gt;

Currently, only VeggieTales is supported, but support for AHK and ACTools is provided, if we can get some maintainers for those scripts.&lt;br /&gt;

Note using SVN would be the quickest to install and smallest download for the beginner or novice user to get up and running. Its not as powerful as Git, but you really dont need all the extra features of Git if you are not a developer or unfamiliar with the tools.&lt;br /&gt;

** ADD &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Thermometer.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; by Skyfeather. Ensure your heater control is set to standard, hover the mouse over the glory hole when you press shift. May still bungle 20% or so of thermometers.&lt;br /&gt;
** Updated 70% of the macros to ensure there is error catching. In other words, if you start a macro up and it can not find the pinned menus it usually just displays and hangs on 'Buttons not found', thus forcing you to break the script with Ctrl+Shift. Now it will immediately exit the script and display an error message (ie 53: Can not find 'Forge' windows.). A prime example is the Forge and Casting Box macros. Previously if no pinned windows were found, it would say 'Buttons not found', but after a 2 second delay, it would still continue the script by counting down as though it did find a pinned menu.&lt;br /&gt;
** Replaced/Updated a couple of images to ensure compatibility with all the macros. Readded Kettle_Take.png. Removed the flaxoldegypt.png, flaxnile.png and flaxtedra.png. These are no longer needed as the flaxgeneric.png works for all flax, including future hybrids.&lt;br /&gt;
** UPDATE &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;crematory.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; Moved the askforwindow() routine (Press Shift key to continue) from 'before' you fill in boxes to: 'after' you fill in boxes. Ocassionally I get 'Crematory window not found errors' unless I put ATITD in focus first (even in high priority mode). By moving the 'Press shift key to continue' to after filling in the boxes, you now have an opportunity to put ATITD in focus, if needed.&lt;br /&gt;

Talescripts is a community driven project to develop, build and maintain a standard distribution of macros for ATITD.  The problem, currently, is that each macro user must piecemeal together scripts from various sources, and there's no automatic way to sync up and acquire new scripts and bugfixes.&lt;br /&gt;

*Mar 26, 2012&lt;br /&gt;
** ADD &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Thermometer.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; by Skyfeather. Ensure your heater control is set to standard, hover the mouse over the glory hole when you press shift. May still bungle 20% or so of thermometers.&lt;br /&gt;
** Updated 70% of the macros to ensure there is error catching. In other words, if you start a macro up and it can not find the pinned menus it usually just displays and hangs on 'Buttons not found', thus forcing you to break the script with Ctrl+Shift. Now it will immediately exit the script and display an error message (ie 53: Can not find 'Forge' windows.). A prime example is the Forge and Casting Box macros. Previously if no pinned windows were found, it would say 'Buttons not found', but after a 2 second delay, it would still continue the script by counting down as though it did find a pinned menu.&lt;br /&gt;
** Replaced/Updated a couple of images to ensure compatibility with all the macros. Readded Kettle_Take.png. Removed the flaxoldegypt.png, flaxnile.png and flaxtedra.png. These are no longer needed as the flaxgeneric.png works for all flax, including future hybrids.&lt;br /&gt;
** UPDATE &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;crematory.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; Moved the askforwindow() routine (Press Shift key to continue) from 'before' you fill in boxes to: 'after' you fill in boxes. Ocassionally I get 'Crematory window not found errors' unless I put ATITD in focus first (even in high priority mode). By moving the 'Press shift key to continue' to after filling in the boxes, you now have an opportunity to put ATITD in focus, if needed.&lt;br /&gt;

** ADD &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;window_unpin.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; by Cegaiel - Will right click all windows to unpin them. Note the word 'This' must be visible in the windows for it to be clicked. I find this handy after running 20-25 thistle gardens. Yes this will even unpin windows that are overlapping each other, such as when you use the thistle_new layout (from window_arranger.lua).&lt;br /&gt;
** UPDATE &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;brick_rack.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt;, &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;kettles_full.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; and &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;kiln.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; with the above unpin routines. It now will pause and wait for the Shift key before proceeding to unpin. Occassionally I get errors if I do not put ATITD window in focus first (even in high priority mode). ** ADD &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Thermometer.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; by Skyfeather. Ensure your heater control is set to standard, hover the mouse over the glory hole when you press shift. May still bungle 20% or so of thermometers.&lt;br /&gt;
** Updated 70% of the macros to ensure there is error catching. In other words, if you start a macro up and it can not find the pinned menus it usually just displays and hangs on 'Buttons not found', thus forcing you to break the script with Ctrl+Shift. Now it will immediately exit the script and display an error message (ie 53: Can not find 'Forge' windows.). A prime example is the Forge and Casting Box macros. Previously if no pinned windows were found, it would say 'Buttons not found', but after a 2 second delay, it would still continue the script by counting down as though it did find a pinned menu.&lt;br /&gt;
** Replaced/Updated a couple of images to ensure compatibility with all the macros. Readded Kettle_Take.png. Removed the flaxoldegypt.png, flaxnile.png and flaxtedra.png. These are no longer needed as the flaxgeneric.png works for all flax, including future hybrids.&lt;br /&gt;
** UPDATE &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;crematory.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; Moved the askforwindow() routine (Press Shift key to continue) from 'before' you fill in boxes to: 'after' you fill in boxes. Ocassionally I get 'Crematory window not found errors' unless I put ATITD in focus first (even in high priority mode). By moving the 'Press shift key to continue' to after filling in the boxes, you now have an opportunity to put ATITD in focus, if needed.&lt;br /&gt;

Talescripts is a community driven project to develop, build and maintain a standard distribution of macros for ATITD.  The problem, currently, is that each macro user must piecemeal together scripts from various sources, and there's no automatic way to sync up and acquire new scripts and bugfixes.&lt;br /&gt;

Currently, only VeggieTales is supported, but support for AHK and ACTools is provided, if we can get some maintainers for those scripts.&lt;br /&gt;

Note using SVN would be the quickest to install and smallest download for the beginner or novice user to get up and running. Its not as powerful as Git, but you really dont need all the extra features of Git if you are not a developer or unfamiliar with the tools.&lt;br /&gt;

*Mar 26, 2012&lt;br /&gt;
** ADD &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;Thermometer.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; by Skyfeather. Ensure your heater control is set to standard, hover the mouse over the glory hole when you press shift. May still bungle 20% or so of thermometers.&lt;br /&gt;
** Updated 70% of the macros to ensure there is error catching. In other words, if you start a macro up and it can not find the pinned menus it usually just displays and hangs on 'Buttons not found', thus forcing you to break the script with Ctrl+Shift. Now it will immediately exit the script and display an error message (ie 53: Can not find 'Forge' windows.). A prime example is the Forge and Casting Box macros. Previously if no pinned windows were found, it would say 'Buttons not found', but after a 2 second delay, it would still continue the script by counting down as though it did find a pinned menu.&lt;br /&gt;
** Replaced/Updated a couple of images to ensure compatibility with all the macros. Readded Kettle_Take.png. Removed the flaxoldegypt.png, flaxnile.png and flaxtedra.png. These are no longer needed as the flaxgeneric.png works for all flax, including future hybrids.&lt;br /&gt;
** UPDATE &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;crematory.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; Moved the askforwindow() routine (Press Shift key to continue) from 'before' you fill in boxes to: 'after' you fill in boxes. Ocassionally I get 'Crematory window not found errors' unless I put ATITD in focus first (even in high priority mode). By moving the 'Press shift key to continue' to after filling in the boxes, you now have an opportunity to put ATITD in focus, if needed.&lt;br /&gt;

** ADD &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;window_unpin.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; by Cegaiel - Will right click all windows to unpin them. Note the word 'This' must be visible in the windows for it to be clicked. I find this handy after running 20-25 thistle gardens. Yes this will even unpin windows that are overlapping each other, such as when you use the thistle_new layout (from window_arranger.lua).&lt;br /&gt;
** UPDATE &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;brick_rack.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt;, &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;kettles_full.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; and &amp;lt;b&amp;gt;kiln.lua&amp;lt;/b&amp;gt; with the above unpin routines. It now will pause and wait for the Shift key before proceeding to unpin. Occassionally I get errors if I do not put ATITD window in focus first (even in high priority mode). This will fix that issue by waiting for you to put ATITD in focus first (if needed). This will give you the opportunity to put ATITD in focus before macro starts.&lt;br /&gt;

Sand mines have 7 stones varying only in Body Colour.  All 7 colours are possible, but unlikely to come out all at once. Having only one varying property makes sand mines much easier to mine for gems.  The aim is to find groups of 3+ with all same or all different colours, and to work as many stones as possible seven times so that they crumble into gems (and coal).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If there are no triples having the same colour, it is possible to collapse all seven stones according to a simple rule:  Make a workload of three stones using one from each pair (including other stones if there are fewer than 3 pairs), then make a workload of the four other stones.  Repeat this seven times, and all stones will crumble yielding seven gems.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
With just a triple (and four singles), you can get 5 gems by making all possible workloads of 3 stones using one from the triple, and then a workload of 5 stones.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You can take out 6 of the ore stones with this combination, Using one of the triple and the 4 singles will give you 6 sets. Do this with a 2nd of the triples, then with the 3rd of the triple you will have 2 sets and take out the 4 single stones then complete with doing the triple and that will take out two of the triple leaving you with just the one stone left. The basis of this tool is that it will solve mines for you. All you do is input the information about each stone (e.g. stone 1 is red, and round, stone 2 is ...)&lt;br /&gt;

You will find that this is the HARDEST part - keeping the stone number straight. That's why I suggest making a pattern that is natural for you.&lt;br /&gt;

The basis of this tool is that it will solve mines for you. All you do is input the information about each stone (e.g. stone 1 is red, and round, stone 2 is ...)&lt;br /&gt;

It seems like a lot to handle at first, but you just have to read this guide once, and then never worry about solving a mine again ;). I timed myself once and was able to mine 25,000 iron ore in 15 minutes. So, this tool is helpful for the easy ores and the hard ones (like silver).&lt;br /&gt;

In order to make using the tool easier, I will give a description of my work flow.&lt;br /&gt;
