Meaning building of structures that interfear with anothers personal space… and as far as  using the power of ban, it is extremely rare that it ever becomes necessary, I believe it would have to be an extreme circumstance to have to use it, like blowing up the CSs, schools, Universitys, etc…Chat related grieves can be handled by most players themselves by simply ignoring them in chat

The next step is to determine how to solve it, satisfying both parties involved. You can’t favor one person over the other, or you just ain’t doing your job:-)

+<b>Larynth</b>: I would argue that in almost every society this problem has been handled with the judge/elder in question recusing themselves from making judgement in cases where they are personally involved. So, if at all possible I would seek the council and agreement of at least one other DP who was not personally involved. If that were not possible I would be forced to act as King Solomon advised and "cut the baby in half" as it were. In other words I would have to offer a resolution that was both perfectly equatable to both parties and one that would be desired by neither in hopes of forcing the parties involved to come to a sensible agreement on their own.

I feel if we can offer Pharaoh a steady supply of the bitcoins he so craves he might be disinclined to spend so much effort on that project and more time in Egypt.

I would only add that I feel DPs should also bear a certain amount of responsibility for maintaining a good relationship between the player community and the developers. Not strictly as a go-between but more as a council of voices speaking the will of the people to Pharaoh and his staff.

+<b>Larynth</b>: Sorry for having missed the debate I was with family in Memphis TN, and my wife was unable to make the trip so I had my hands full with our two year-old daughter. As to what I enjoy most about th game I would say it's the sense of community and working toward common goals while enjoying a bit of friendly competition along the way. I started about a quarter of the way into T1 and played through T4 when my daughter was born. Since then I've been a full-time Dad and gone back to school and have only recently found the time to come back to Egypt.
