We humbly request the establishment of a local Landmark Registry (LR).

At this LR any one may request the list of registered landmarks. Their list of personal landmarks is then updated with those registered with the LR.

Landmarks are added by requesting the registration of an existing personal landmark at the LR. A landmark must be inside the region serviced by the LR.

A landmark becomes registered once there is sufficient registered votes with the same location and name.
A sufficient number of votes depends on the population in the region serviced by the LR.

[NOTES
- The Landmark Registry could be established at the University of Leadership, but could be any other university or a new structure.

- A sufficient number of votes could be:
sqrt(Region Population)*2

OR

a fixed number like 21

- The name of a landmark should have the same spelling in all votes but could normalize for capitalization.

- The coordinates for landmark votes should be the same for all votes, but could allow for some small variation.]
