New page

The Departed Law

This law supersedes any other current salvage laws and will pass down to future generations and tales. It can, of course, be overridden or amended in any tale.

Flimsy brick racks, small distaffs, flax combs and wood planes built outside a compound (built using self->projects menu) can be torn down by anyone starting 60 days after they are built.

Small bonfires (less than 100 wood) can be town down or set on fire by anyone starting 60 days after they are built.

A trial account that hasn't logged in for 30 days or more will be considered Departed. Any other account will be considered Departed if they are unpaid for 60 or more days.

Buildings owned by Departed players can be claimed or salvaged by any other players. Guild owned buildings can be claimed or salvaged if every member of the guild is Departed.

Players may designate heirs. If a heir is designated, the heir will have exlusive rights to claim or salvage buildings owned by departed players for the first 14 days after they become departed. The heir has no special rights past those 14 days and anyone can then claim the buildings owned by the departed player.

Heirs have no special rights to guild owned buildings since individual guild members may have many seperate heirs.
