		+	It's best to keep the furnaces running for 7-8 days, when the yield is at 3,000 or more metal.

		+	Opening up at 2 days is the same as running gyro's, that is 10 ore = 1 metal, or 2,000 metal for a load of 20,000 ore.

		+	If you don't need to load with a new metal, and don't need the metal in there straight away, leave the furnaces running until it runs out of fuel, as they can squeak out a little more metal. Two weeks is about 3,500 metal, and the longest it can run, just over a month, is 3,780 metal. Not worth the wait if you need to cook other stuff, or if you need the metal in it, but no need to stop it for the sake of stopping it :)
