Alkhar: [34m] I am a bit terrified with the idea of someone, even myself, holding the power to permanently
ban others to be honest. But I have witnessed many occasions where DP is granted a role in community where
those who would feel helpless or beaten otherwise were not in a situation to feel so as they could go to a DP
for advise/action
Alkhar: [33m] It is a role with a grounding to achieve great results in situations where otherwise things
may not go beyond personal conflicts/grudges by any other means
TifaDivine: [30m] So, do you see this community role as one of a mediator? (I am assuming this is
a role *aside* from the ban power itself)
Alkhar: [28m] Exactly the word I would like to use is mediator and I believe the mere existence of
ban power has a part of it being acceptable making every DP of some interpersonal skills get the role

entirely to public works projects? Or do you think that a variety of playstyles can be represented amongst
the DPs?
TifaDivine: [24m] (I ask because I saw someone make an argument once that essentially boiled down to 'if
you own things that are your own, and not for public use, then you shouldn't be DP)
Alkhar: [22m] for one thing, I don't own anything that is not in my pockets right now. ^^ but a DP doesn't
have to be the servant. I would rather have someone with good objectivity and judgement

use of them as land claim is unacceptable if not really exactly in your backyard and there is other ways
to do that

to that?
Alkhar: [09m] If someone is working hard to gather a resource as much as he/she wants, it is not anybody's
business, unless they are taking from others in inacceptable ways. Regardless, I would rather everyone be
as sharing as possible. There is a working balance in this game for most where everyone have their hands
on some stuff and trade it with others with whatever tohers have their hands on
