He had set up a small camp near Meroe chariot. This camp comprised a fancy tent, chests and storage drums surrounding a bright bonfire and a large cooking pot.

The Camp

His appearance had been announced on E! Many of us travelled to Meroe to see this visitor. He looked like one of us but was not.

He had the rare Puzzle Granite and Gold for trade in exhange for herbs. He said he had 'special commodities' which would improve the already natural fertility of the Nile. However he required specific items of our resources which are unique to Egypt, including herbs and mushrooms.

This special commodity was a substance called 'Fertility' also known as 'Nkambtha'. And he also was willing to trade to the highest bidder the secret of making this substance. Sadly he only had 100deben of this substance available for trade.

Trade Logs

  • 5 deben of fertility for 20 bottles of well aged Egyptian wine (5 vintages or older- at the time of writing we were on 35 vintage)
  • BlueGrass traded 20 turtle shell for 5 Fertility

Althought trading for debens of fertility was relatively straightforward although not exactly cheap. His price for the secret was rather more expensive.

He would trade the secret of making the Elixer for certain hard-to-find mushrooms... Sun Star, Beehive and Golden Sun. These mushrooms when mixed together make a drink beloved of nobles in far off lands.

The Shrooms!
  • Sun Star worth 50 knar
  • BeeHive worth 100 knar

BlueGrass, Casino and Nissim were able to make a satisfactory bid.
