Cats in Egypt
Cats can be created by designated Cat Ladies (and men). Current Cat Ladies are: Ketta (Taygete 930, 6350),Sky (Taygete 851,6794) and Numaris.
Cats will follow their owners everywhere, even if you warp or go for a dip in the Nile (although they don't swim, they just run across the top of the water). On logout the cat will go into your inventory (per Pharaoh via Tribisha/Pharaoh conversation)
Pricing
Cats come in different shapes, colors and sizes. Depending on these and the 'rarity' of a cat's trait your cat may cost as little as $25.00 or more. Each rare trait will cost additional. Basically, the larger and more oddly colored the cat, the more it costs. The Bengal pattern is 'rare' and significantly more expensive. For example, a small (Desert) Bengal is $75, while a small Mackeral Tabby is $25.
Cat types
The base patterns are: Mackeral Tabby (striped), Color Point (siamese), Tuxedo, Marble (color on top, white belly), Ginger (orange with large stripes), Havana (brown), and Bengal (spotted like a leopard).
Sizes
From smallest to largest: Desert, River, Woodland, Grassland, Savannah, Coastal, and Jungle. Jungle size is huge, like a lion, but only a dev can breed these (likely due to cost). The larger the cat, the more expensive it will get.
Color
Most 'normal' cat colors are available, plus some pretty strange ones. The more 'rarely' colored, or unnatural the color (like purple), the more the cats will tend to be. Some patterns don't allow for color to show very well, like the Bengal and Havanna.
These are just a few examples we slapped up.
