How about Seven Lakes? I always liked that one little circular valley, at Theta (AKA Eight) Lake!

Yep, I plopped a compound at 1371,-326.

And found my "magic tree" at 1371, -242, right there in the valley with me!

Jodpar found the valley, actually, and we started Mostly Harmless Public Works.

Macros?!

I've modified the Carpentry Blade macro from Cegaiel so that it works with rotated anvils, since I seem to always end up with East/West oriented ones.

It's got a new starting parameter, which compass direction the blade edge will be on when working it, and it requires you to click on the correct pixelof the anvil according to how it's rotated:

  • East: default rotation, follow the old instructions and find the pixel on the NE point
  • North: use the NW point
  • South: use the point in the SE
  • West: use the SW point

I've tested North and it works perfectly. East should be essentially unchanged from the stock macros. South and West are not yet tested but the logic is sound (I think!), as long as you've chosen the correct anvil point and located the equivalent pixel to start from.

You still need to point at the correct pixel in the new orientation, just like before. Some day maybe I'll recalculate everything & make one easier point such as the gold ring's center... but not today.
