GV Ovens is the Green Valley Falls guild for managing and burning GVF Raeli Ovens. Entry is open to both GVF and non-GVF members but is by invitation only through the RP CS Guild Hall at [http://atitd.sharpnetwork.net/egypt.asp?loc=1615,2888 1615, 2888]. 30% of every burn is left for GVF on the honour system.

Any issues, please contact '''Eimear''' or '''Huggz'''. (Dawner and Pixels are currently on hiatus.) We really want this to work well for everyone, to be fair, and to be easy!

Any issues, please contact '''Eimear''' or '''Huggz'''. We really want this to work well for everyone; to be fair; and to make it easy to find the ovens you need in the colours you want!

Please bring your own CC. There is a WH with emergency CC at every oven, but those WHs only have emergency CC if we all keep it stocked when we burn!
+
Please bring your own CC and 25 extra to leave if supplies at an oven are low. There is a WH with emergency CC at every oven, but those WHs only have emergency CC if we all keep it stocked when we make a burn trip!

* When burning, please announce the oven you are burning, and what color you are burning, in the GV Ovens Guild chat: ''"Burning 18 for white."''

* When burning, please announce the oven you are burning, and what color you are burning, in the GV Ovens Guild chat: ''"Burning 18 for white."''

* '''30% of your burn should be left for GVF.''' Please leave your 30% in the oven before you take your 70%, or stash tiles in the WH at every oven.

* '''30% of your burn should be left for GVF.''' Please leave your 30% in the oven before you take your 70%, or stash tiles in the WH at every oven.
* Please update the burn date below and the total number of tiles that are available to be picked up by GVF.
+
* RESTART THE OVEN DREDGING. This is so important!
 +
** When starting the dredge, please stick around and '''time the first tile'''.  A time of less than 2m is desirable, but 2m 30s is too high.  If it takes too long, start baking and restart the dredging process.  Since there are no tiles, there will be no CC cost.  This can be difficult with a lower Raeli Operation skill (maybe less than 13).  If you try 5 or 6 times and can't get a good dredge time, mention it GV Ovens chat.
 +
** The stopwatch on http://goo.gl/NmZWfF is helpful.
 +
* Please '''update the burn date below''' and the total number of tiles left in the oven and WH that are available to be picked up by GVF.
 +
* If a WH has no charcoal, or the WH is not accessible to you, please '''note it''' in the pickup column so it can be fixed!

You are of course the boss of your own burns, but we request that you be mindful of the oven counts for rarer colours. We have 30 ovens that burn Black, but just 1 that burns Fuchsia. It is poor utilisation of that single oven to burn it for Black and you will make the karma monkeys cry if you use ovens with rare colours to burn commons.

== Colors We Can't Burn ==
 +

 +
We burn 157 of 183 colours. We have no ovens for the following 26 tiles:
 +

 +
''Aqua*. Blue. Chartreuse. Cobalt Green*. Dark Blue. Dark Orange. Dark Orchid*. Dark Red*. Dark Sea Green*. Deep Sky Blue*. Dodger Blue*. Duke Blue. Lawn Green*. Light Sky Blue. Light Yellow. Maroon. Medium Blue. Medium Slate Blue. Medium Turquoise. Navy. Peacock. Royal Blue. Sangria. Spring Green*. Yellow*. Zaffe.
 +
''
 +
=== Acquiring These Tiles ===
 +

 +
These tiles are rare or highly valued, but just''' 7 of any one colour will get you 200 points''' so they are worth the effort to try to get 7 each of as many colours as you can.
 +

 +
* [http://thegoods.atitd.org/valuation.php The Goods] periodically has stock of the colours marked with an *. Check daily. See Eimear if you don't know how to arrange a trade; it is possible to optimise your spare tiles to get these rares at little or no cost.
 +
* GVF sometimes has a very small supply of Maroon, Aqua and some other colours available to GVF members close to a Temple pass. Chat Eimear or Huggz.
 +
* [http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale7/Guilds/Followers_of_Anubis/Oven_List FoA ovens] ARE now public despite what it says
 +

Introduction

GV Ovens is the Green Valley Falls guild for managing and burning GVF Raeli Ovens. Entry is open to both GVF and non-GVF members but is by invitation only through the RP CS Guild Hall at 1615, 2888. 30% of every burn is left for GVF on the honour system.

Note: Karma is a real thing.

Any issues, please contact Eimear or Huggz. We really want this to work well for everyone; to be fair; and to make it easy to find the ovens you need in the colours you want!

Procedures

Please bring your own CC and 25 extra to leave if supplies at an oven are low. There is a WH with emergency CC at every oven, but those WHs only have emergency CC if we all keep it stocked when we make a burn trip!

  • When burning, please announce the oven you are burning, and what color you are burning, in the GV Ovens Guild chat: "Burning 18 for white."
  • 30% of your burn should be left for GVF. Please leave your 30% in the oven before you take your 70%, or stash tiles in the WH at every oven.
  • RESTART THE OVEN DREDGING. This is so important!
    • When starting the dredge, please stick around and time the first tile.
    • The stopwatch on http://goo.gl/NmZWfF is helpful.
  • Please update the burn date below and the total number of tiles left in the oven and WH that are available to be picked up by GVF.
  • If a WH has no charcoal, or the WH is not accessible to you, please note it in the pickup column so it can be fixed!

Colors We Can't Burn

We burn 157 of 183 colours. We have no ovens for the following 26 tiles:

Aqua*. Blue. Chartreuse. Cobalt Green*. Dark Blue. Dark Orange. Dark Orchid*. Dark Red*. Dark Sea Green*. Deep Sky Blue*. Dodger Blue*. Duke Blue. Lawn Green*. Light Sky Blue. Light Yellow. Maroon. Medium Blue. Medium Slate Blue. Medium Turquoise. Navy. Peacock. Royal Blue. Sangria. Spring Green*. Yellow*. Zaffe.

Acquiring These Tiles

These tiles are rare or highly valued, but just 7 of any one colour will get you 200 points so they are worth the effort to try to get 7 each of as many colours as you can.

  • The Goods periodically has stock of the colours marked with an *. Check daily. See Eimear if you don't know how to arrange a trade; it is possible to optimise your spare tiles to get these rares at little or no cost.
  • GVF sometimes has a very small supply of Maroon, Aqua and some other colours available to GVF members close to a Temple pass. Chat Eimear or Huggz.
  • FoA ovens ARE now public despite what it says
    • JEFFREZ - Checked these at 10 15 16, seem to have all been reguilded -, and they have ovens that bake rare blues. These ovens are being camped by someone with many alts right now and generally have less than 100 tiles. But as an example, you can hang out at FoA Oven 14 long enough for it to have more than 10 tiles, burn to Medium Blue, and go home victorious with 7 precious rare tiles in your hand.
    • Some FoA ovens that burn rarer colors have been re-guilded/not public. Some common colors are public. A trip to BFE may or may not be successful.
