Throne of Pharaoh is a demanding GROUP test that requires consistency of effort. The Throne group needs to create the most highly decorated Throne in the land in order to win a level. Win 3 levels and you've passed the test. This third zfree Throne group is called the 'slacker' group because the Throne is already built, the materials are more or less assembled, and there is no other known competing Thrones trying to win at the moment. Despite the name, being part of the Throne group is still a significant and time consuming commitment.

The group has to set and meet the group build goals. There is a minimum requirement of decorations that every member of the team must build, or the group will not advance. If one person fails to complete the minimum build, the whole group fails. Because of this it is critical to work together, share skills, resources and manage time. It also means respecting the set up that has enabled two previous groups to complete the test. For example, if you find the throne asks for materials because it is calling for materials that can't be located, go to Grand Designs and ask. And copy the clipboard and paste the list in the TimeStamp window as a record of the time the deco started and what is required.

The current Throne group is:

Getting started

In the beginning the group needs to be formed. Click on the throne and ask to join the group. You then need to wait 12 hrs before you can start decorating. Each person touches the throne to get a list of required decorations and has three hours to fulfill the request. In Slacker Thrones, each member of the group commits to making a minimum of 7 decorations ("decos") per week for three weeks.

Materials Contribution

Instructions

Each week, make the required number of decorations listed for you on the Schedule below, before Sunday passes, or the group does not advance. In a 24 hour period, the first deco list you get will be a relatively easy 7 item list. The second will be slightly harder. The 7th will be insane. For this reason, it makes sense to limit the number of decorations you request to two per day so they reset after 24 hrs to "easy" and do NOT get forced into doing all your decos at the end of the week in groups of 3 or 4 which can see you with some of the more insane long lists.

Two per day is easy and can often be fulfilled in less than 10 minutes per deco; that is why it is called Slacker Thrones. Real Thrones is loads per day per person, and is a brutal schedule to have to maintain...

This is how it works:

  • Touch the Throne to get a new list of requirements for your next decoration
  • Clipboard the list and Post it to Timestamp.
  • Check the list, looking for items that aren't already in the materials repositories.
  • Start collecting materials from the WH and chest materials provided. Don't load up anything until you have collected the full list.
  • If you take tiles from zemples for your throne deco, make a note in Grand Designs. The spreadsheets will need to be updated
  • When you have fed the throne, touch it again to get and fulfill a 2nd list if required by the Schedule.
  • When your turn(s) is complete, post "Throne free" to Timestamp so the next person knows they can go get a list.
  • Wait 24 RL hours (check in Timestamp for the time stamp of your last post to make sure) and begin again.
  • If the throne asks for Beige Pearls, Octec's Alloy or Water Metal and there is none in the Throne stashes, do not attempt to fulfill the request on your own. ASK in Grand Designs first in case others can help out.
  • An unfulfilled request will lock the throne for 3 hours. If you cannot fulfill the request, post "Throne Locked" to Timestamp so people don't travel up to get a list the throne will not give them.

After thr group gets a level in Sunday test passes, the Throne will reset, and you will need to reform the group and set up a new basic throne, and it all starts over again. Decos cannot be added until the new basic throne is installed in the plinth.
