Hens are found in the wild by examining Pale Pampas Grass. You must first learn the Avian Selection tech at a University of Worship. They can also be bred in a Chicken Coop.
Use
- They lay eggs
- Slaughtering a hen yields 1 Chicken Meat and occasionally Chicken Bones. *Whole live chickens (and eggs) can be fed to Cobras in a serpentarium.

- Hens consume less Barley per day than Roosters consume.
- Hens will lay eggs even if there are no roosters in the coop, but the eggs may not hatch if not fertilised by Roosters.
