Law Text

This act defines what a Departed Person and Departed Guild is and addresses property left behind by them.

Heirs:
Every paid player is already allowed to name 1 player as the 'Heir' of their possessions under the Last Will and Testament option. Should a player quit or remain unpaid for 45 days, their heir shall be notified and have 15 days to claim the items bestowed upon them. If these items remain unclaimed, they become items owned by a departed person.

Under this act, anything owned by a Departed Person or Departed Guild (excluding microphones and mentor shrines) may be claimed by a paid account.

3) A "Quit" account 60 days after their account goes into unpaid status.

Definition of a Departed Guild:
1) A guildhall which has no paid members in it for 60 days or more.
Note: 1) If all elders of a guild have become unpaid, all paid members of the next highest rank shall be promoted to elder. Oh the
2) A "guilded building", where the guildhall belonging to that building has been torn down, shall be immediately claimable.

Supplementary Information

  • I revisited all the past DPA laws since T1 and tried to keep most of it as similar as possible as it progressed along the years. The one thing I did amend was the time limit for inheriting and claiming items. I adjusted it to an even 60 days like the other 2 statuses to make it easier to remember. --Tesa
