Test of Ritual Mummification/Ritual

The following lists the steps required for the second stage of Test of Ritual Mummification

Summary Guide

• All priests need to review ritual requirements in their Test menu
• Obtain (or make) the required Incense [1 db per Priest, 4 total for each attempt]
• Obtain (or make) the required Spirit [5db per Priest, 20 total for each attempt]
• Obtain (or make) the sacrifice item [1 per Priest, 4 total, only consumed when successful]
• Obtain 32 Glass Rods, 200 Silver, 200 Bronze, 12 Silver, 4 Copper Sheeting, 20 Large Diamond and 4 Large Quartz to make the Spirit Brasier and Windproof Incense Burner
• If making Basic Signs, obtain 8 Rope, 32 Boards, 40 Wood
• Head to the Altar
• Priest 1 determines the order of brasier, incense holder, incantation, sacrifice ritual by trial and error.
• Priest 2, 3 and 4 repeats correct ritual.

Step by Step Guide

• On closing the satisfied popup window, Priest 1 will receive a requirements popup

• All priests will had a new menu entry in their Tests menu, See ritual requirements. Each priest will receive part of the ritual and they will need to figure out the proper sequence.

• Each Priest can click on Self > Test > Test of the Ritual Mummification > See ritual requirements to see the specific requirement, each priest being slightly different, for example:
  • Priest 1: At the altar located in Seven Lakes 699, -1530, at the appropriate time, each priest must light guilty feeling 371+ quality in an incense burner
  • Priest 2: At the altar located in Seven Lakes 699, -1530, at the appropriate time, each priest must sacrifice Gull chime
  • Priest 3: At the altar located in Seven Lakes 699, -1530, at the appropriate time,
    • Priest 1 recites the prayer: We commit to you the body of Nehsey, loved husband of Iput, master Fisherman and a pillar of the Nut community
    • Priest 2: Nehesy, loved husband of Iput will be dearly missed. Nehesy was a Fisherman and a pillar of Four Corners.
    • Priest 3: Loving husband of Iput in their names we bid you farewell!
    • Priest 4: May Nut comfort Iput as they grieve for the loss of their husband.
  • Priest 4: At the altar located in Seven Lakes 699, -1530, at the appropriate time, each priest must light a spirit brazier with jug of fruit spirits of life

There is no Copy to Clipboard option, so you will need to type it out exactly as shown, including punctuation.

• • Recommended: Build four Basic Signs, and type the exact encantation onto the signs, one for each priest. This costs 8 Rope, 32 Boards, 40 Wood. When it comes to incantation time, you just need to copy from sign.

• Gather 32 Glass Rods, 200 Silver, 200 Bronze, 12 Silver, 4 Copper Sheeting, 20 Large Diamond and 4 Large Quartz to make the Spirit Brasier and Windproof Incense Burner
• Obtain 20 db of the spirit requested, and give 5 to each priest
• Obtain 4 db of the incense indicated, and give 1 to each priest
• Obtain 4 db of the sacrifice item requested and give 1 to each priest
• All priests should then head to the exact Altar given in the ritual requirements

To allow for mistakes, you may want to increase the spirit and incense numbers. The sacrificed item will only be expended if everything has worked to that point.

Preparing the Altar

You will need to construct:

• 1 Spirit Brasier
• 1 Windproof Incense Burner
• Recommended: 4 Basic Signs

• Organise the incantations by typing them out exactly. Take care not to introduce incorrect spaces between words.

(In this example, the first one failed because of the space. The second line worked, it ignored the Priest: at the beginning of the incantation)

At the Altar

The basic instruction is: Each priest must; light a brazier with the proper spirit, light incense, recite the proper ritual chant (below), and place the offering to the altar(random fancy item similar on messenger). After all four priests have completed the ritual in the proper sequence, all priests must meditate.

• Priest 1 should meditate on the altar (may not be required, but why not?)
• Priest 1 must determine the order of the ritual to be followed. Not all altars are the same.
• Priest 1 will know the correct sequence by a The gods are pleased by your actions messages.

There is a bug in the messages. If you don't get a The gods are pleased message,look for a comma and try removing it.
We commit to you the body of Setka, loved son of Ipy and Kewab, master Lawmaker and a pillar of the Maat community Notice the two commas. On one of my runs, the only way this prayer would work is:
We commit to you the body of Setka, loved son of Ipy and Kewab master Lawmaker and a pillar of the Maat community 
If the spirit is extremely difficult, it is possible to use a lesser spirit. (confirmed by Pluribus)

• Priest 2 should perform the same ritual
• Priest 3 should perform the same ritual
• Priest 4 should perform the same ritual

• If all four priests have successfully performed the ritual, Priest 4 will be told that the ritual is complete.

Observations

• The Brazier must be burning throughout. If any step doesn't show the gods are pleased message, further steps will not complete.
• If the sacrifice doesn't work, you will keep the sacrifice item in your inventory.

• It is possible that all priests perform up to the incantation, and then later relight the brazier and perform the sacrifice.
• It is possible for a big gap in time between steps (for example, lighting the incense, going through 4 regions, using spouse travel, expedition travel, home travel, then get to tbe altar and give the incantation and have the gods be pleased)
• The only way to disband the ritual group is by Priest 1 returning the mummy to University from whence it came.
