The spirit of Khonsu arrives in Egypt at 6PM and departs at 6AM. The location of the spirit of Khonsu changes each time a player finds it. The spirit of Khonsu can be found anywhere in Egypt except over water. The spirit of Khonsu doesn't have any audio or visual indicators to its location. To start the search for Khonsu, a player must perform a ritual at a common altar. Upon successful completion of the ritual, player receives a fly away message: Khonsu has taken notice of your devotion.
Once a player had the attention of Khonsu, the player lights a candle to honor Khonsu. Lighting a candle is performed though the test menu and can be lit anywhere. After a few minutes, the player receives a message: A gentle wind blows to the (North, Northwest, West, Southwest, South, Southeast, East, or Northeast).
When a player is within 500 coords of Khonsu's location when lighting a candle, the player receives the flyaway message: A violent wind blows out your candle.
When a player lights a candle within 100 coords of Khonsu's location, player will receive the flyaway message: An aura surrounds your candle as Khonsu smiles upon you.
When a player lights a candle withing 50 coords of Khonu's location, players will receive the flyaway message: You feel the warmth of Khonsu's spirit nearby.
At any time players can build a ceremonial bonfire. Ceremonial bonfires built outside of 500 coord radius prior to passing the test will receive the flyaway message: Khonsu is not pleased with you.
Ceremonial bonfires that are built inside the 500 coord radius will receive 5 percent towards Khonsu's favor and a flyaway message: Khonsu is pleased with you.
Ceremonial bonfires that are built inside the 100 coord radius will receive 12 percent towards Khonsu's favor and a flyaway message: Khonsu is very pleased with you.
Ceremonial bonfires that are built lit inside the 50 coord radius will receive 25 percent towards Khonsu's favor and a flyaway message: Khonsu is extremely pleased with you and welcomes you into his camp.
After the building of a ceremonial bonfire or the lighting of the candle, the items are consumed.
