Departed Persons Act (DPA) v2

This act defines what a Departed Person and Departed Guild is and addresses property left behind by departed persons.

Heirs:

  • Every paid player is already allowed to name 1 player as thei "Heir" of their possessions under the Last Will and Testament Option. Should a player quit or remain unpaid for 45 days, their heir shall be notified and have 15 days to claim the items bestowed upon them. If these items remain unclaimed, they become items owned by a departed person.

Under this act, anything owned by a Departed Person or Departed Guild (excluding microphones and mentor shrines) may be claimed by a paid account.

Definition of a Departed Person:

  • A "trial" account which has been inactive for 14 days or more.
  • An "Unpaid" account which has remained unpaid for 60 consecutive days or longer.
  • A "Quit" account 60 days after their account goes into unpaid status.

Definition of a Departed Guild:

  • A guildhall which has no paid members in it for 60 days or more.

Note:

  • If all elders of a guild have become unpaid, all paid members of the next highest rank shall be promoted to elder.
