Test of Heavenly bodies
The Sky
Imagine the sky being divided into many sectors, and each of these sectors being one big puzzle to solve. Each observation reveals one peace (fragment) of the puzzle, and the amount of time required for an observation is dependent on the altitude of the observatory, and perhaps other factors.
Puzzle Pieces
The puzzle pieces could be in the form (examples):
- Object 45 is of the same type as object 23.
- Object 42 is NOT a planet.
- Object 34 is located at the same 1. coordinate as object 2, +56.
- Object 4 has a color of 5.
There are 49 objects in one sector.
A puzzle piece is also called 'an observation'.
Results
A full result of a puzzle comes in form of a position of a body, its type, color and brightness. A player needs to discover 7 full results in order to pass the test.
Observatories
An observatory may be build anywhere, but if it is placed close to sea level it will take more time to obtain an observation than if it is placed high above sea level. At the highest points an observation may take an hour or two, at sea level up to one full day. There will be people there for you to make the observations, so you do not have to be present all of the time, but you must fetch an observation before a new one can begin. You will be informed through the 'test' menu if an observation is done. There will also be a message in 'main'.
One person can only build one observatory, but may own more than one.
