Back again for another telling! I am happy to say that I am living with some old friends, whom I love dearly. Our camp, Akhetaton, is situated in Meroe, on the twin lakes within the curve of the UART road. We are a mentoring guild, and would love to help new folks out. Send them our way![[1]]

I am also an elder in Worship World. [[2]] We will strive to help you with all of your worship needs. We are running monthly VIGILS! Please join us to get your Vigil points! Next Vigil scheduled for the weekend of July 10, 2009. All donations are gratefully accepted! We will also help guide you through Worship Initiations and Pilgrimages. The Worship World guild is located directly East from Meroe CS, right next to the UofArt.

Currently, I have guided 20 couples through the Worship Initiation. If you, or anyone you know, needs help with this, please have them contact me. I will be more than happy to guide them through it.

Monkey Poem

Zomboe's Monkey Poem contest Winner - Thank you, Zomboe! The hatchet is wonderful!!! ~Korrin

There was a monkey with fleas,
He danced in circles and was teased.
The Otters made merry,
and the camels were harried,
and the sheep all fell to their knees.

This monkey's name was Ratchet,
and he needed some way to scratch it,
He went to Zomboe,
but he wasn't home,
so much for a trade for a hatchet!

A hatchet would scratch it,
but oh what would match it,
Would somebody take pity on him please?

Itchy and forlorn,
he headed for home,
but whom did he see in his way?
Zomboe stood there,
with a something shiny and fair,
at his feet a hatchet did lay.

"Take this", he did say,
"and forget the pay,
for you have won this day with your poem."

SunnyOne: I was at a wedding reception tonight. Great time.

Korrin: ooo.. a 4th wedding... hubby has no excuse about forgetting that anniversary!

SunnyOne: and yes, I love you too.

SunnyOne: The location was amazing.

SunnyOne: A guys house. A full waterfall, and tiki bar.

Korrin: wonderful! sounds amazing

Korrin: Good Morning all!

Korrin: I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your support in going forward to Final Dp. I would love to answer your questions.

Korrin: A little synopsis of me: player of 2 tales, elder in many guilds, head elder of Worship World - organizing huge vigils and other worship tests. E! mod - which is a big responsiblity that I take very seriously. I am honored to be a mod. My main goal in egypt is to have fun, and to bring fun to everyone i meet. Even if it is just doing something silly like streakin nekkid through your backyard.

Korrin: I am a good listener, and in rl i'm a mediator, dealing with suppliers of one of the fortune 500 companies. i'm the mediator between disgruntled suppliers and our accounts payables. when people don't get their money, they are MAD, and it is my job to satisfy them and work out their issues.

Korrin: if you want someone that is quick with a ban, then i'm NOT your candidate. A ban would be a last resort for me, and I have actually seen very little that i would consider bannable.

Korrin: most bans in the past have been WANTED. Yes i say wanted... the player banned knew they would be banned, and wanted to go out with a BANG, so to speak.

Korrin: so.. i'll get off my soapbox for now.. and let others take it :D again, i'm happy to answer your questions

SunnyOne: Just to make it official, I also am interested in getting on the DP ballot.

SunnyOne: Hello all. How's this day treating you?

Korrin: hiya sweetheart... other than Mharcus saying hi.. it is still just you and me

Korrin: i have to go to work tomorrow, so there is no discussion for me until tomorrow night it seems

SunnyOne: Ok. I'd say that it sucks that you have to go to work but I know enough people laid off right now that I guess having a job is a blessing.

Korrin: yes. we have to take one week a month unpaid, to get our company through this... which is tough, but at least still have a job right now

SunnyOne: right

Korrin: and i get unemployment for the week off

Mharcus: I didn't use this name. I used Ryhiad in Tale 1, 2 and 3

SunnyOne: Ohhhh, ok

SunnyOne: I"ve been the same name all the tales.

Mharcus: I am well aware :)

Mharcus: Your well known ;)

SunnyOne: eeek 1 day 4 hours left in this Demi-Pharaoh round.

Mharcus: In fact I am sure you were one of the DPs last telling if I remember correctly. ?

SunnyOne: Yeah, I thought so, but I"m really horrible with names so wasn't sure.

Mharcus: I never really did anything big enough to be very well known. Biggest thing I did was create R-Trade.

Mharcus: After winning the mic from the reflection tournament.

SunnyOne: R-Trade was wonderful!

Mharcus: I thought it was a good use for the mic. Seems all the other ones (other than E!) didn't really do anything.

SunnyOne: It was, definitely

Mharcus: I heard someone continued R-Trade as a guild this telling, which is cool.

SunnyOne: and there's the Bazaar mic that is just like your R-Trade last tale.

Mharcus: Good to know. Seems active too.

SunnyOne: Yes, it is.

SunnyOne: Are you just getting into this tale?

Mharcus: I started about a month ago. I have had some big RL issues that tore me away from the end of T3 and start of T4.

Mharcus: Tale 2 and Start of Tale 3 I had a lot of spare time (was working 9-2 Mon-Friday)

SunnyOne: nice hours

Mharcus: They were. I miss them :)

SunnyOne: RIght now I LOVE my hours....

SunnyOne: I"m a teacher on summer break. No work at all. heehee

Mharcus: I was about to guess that ;)

Mharcus: My fiance has her teaching degree. She ended up working for a hospital though (lol). I have a computer programming degree and work in finance. Funny how that all works :P

SunnyOne: Yes, it is

SunnyOne: So, are you hoping to be DP or are you here just to vote?

Mharcus: Well like everyone I would like to have the chance to be on the ballot one day. If I get that chance I would appreciate it. Honestly though the DP 'test' has always been one of my favorite just to particapate in and I am glad they changed the test from becoming a DP. I will not vote for myself. My vote tend to go towards someone who is a) someone who will most likely not use the ban (unless under some odd curcumstance that requires it) and b) truly wants to move on for the experience, nore than for the 'power'

SunnyOne: Korrin and I have known each other since last tale and we met at the player meet earlier this tale.

SunnyOne: I wish daninicholls would stop in and say hi.

Mharcus: Has been for about 50 minutes.

Mharcus: I might check it out. I have been moving at a slower pace it telling from previous ones. Focusing more on the social and building aspects over tests (other than body, which is always the funnest ones).

Korrin: well.. if you wann get a sac or two in on vigil, we are doing it this weekend

Mharcus: Was very happy to see Darkest Night again :)

SunnyOne: Yes, me too. It's still a very challenging but fun test.

Korrin: yes.. and they started it early this tale, which was nice

Korrin: i'm the only acting elder right now, so it is all on my plate, but so far so good :D

Mharcus: Jeslyn and I have done it in previous tellings. We know the run, may need some help with the items though.

Mharcus: As I think I remember diamonds being involved.

Korrin: if you need to borrow, holler

Korrin: just one small diamond needed

Mharcus: Yes, which we have. I also have a beetle and the stuff to learn a new skill ready.

Korrin: double zappage is the best :D

Mharcus: Yes. I remember in T3 near the start a group of us would try to get together on Sundays when we were waiting for passes to see a lot of zappage ;)

Mharcus: No. Is showed as online.

Mharcus: Might be their husband though on their account.

Mharcus: Their info says if they don't respond it is most likely the husband on their account and not to take offence :)

Mharcus: Did you ever end up banning anyone as DP SunnyOne?

Korrin: she banned me from her fridge, does that count?

Mharcus: lol

SunnyOne: No, not even close. There was a guild of all the DPs. We talked about each situation and made decisions together. I think while I was DP, one of the DPs did a one week ban on somebody. I never did.

Mharcus: I didn't realize you could time them.

Korrin: yes.. they are broken up into smaller bans now.. a day, a week or perm

SunnyOne: YEah, that happened later in the tale. You could ban for a day, week, or month

SunnyOne: Ok, maybe not a month. ;)

Korrin: but once one is used on a person, it can't be again

Korrin: so if a guy is baned for aday, and gets banned again, it can only be for the week or perm

Mharcus: Okay

SunnyOne: It's a great option. Good for giving a person a chance to cool down or to realize that what they are doing is not going to be tolerated without actually banning them for good.

Mharcus: I agree.

Korrin: however, it still goes agains the dp, who still only has the 7 bans

Korrin: they use one up, even if it is only a day ban

SunnyOne: Yeah, but I don't think there's been a DP that ever even came close to using all their bans up

Korrin: nope

Mharcus: Well if there is an organized group like last telling the pool should have lots available. Are they doing a guild again this telling?

Korrin: i think they better.. now that we finally have a handful of them

SunnyOne: Well, except the one that created the 7 dwarves and banned them all during amnesty one tale.

Korrin: didn't make sense to with only 2 or 3

SunnyOne: YEs, there is a guild. I checked.

Korrin: oh good. one has been started already. that is good to hear

Korrin: i'm hoping to be on the other side of the mic this round during debates <koff> ;)

SunnyOne: Astrina was in my final round before she got on the ballot and elected. She told me there was a guild.

Korrin: don't see either her or coyan on much anymore

SunnyOne: YEah, that's too bad. I liked them

Korrin: i believe some of my dp answers are still out there too... i saw them a while ago

Korrin: we had to answer specific questions.. and my answers are still on old wiki

Korrin: we used to it that way, instead of live debates sometimes

Korrin: or they were used as an introduction before the live debate

Mharcus: Ahh

Korrin: if i don't make it to final, i'll be hosting the dp debates again, and I may do something similar this time

Korrin: get the generic questions out there, and their answers before the debate.

Mharcus: As is obvious, I have voted for Korrin. I think both SunnyOne and Korrin are amazing choices but have voted in favor of Korrin because they have not yet been a DP. As I mentioned I am a fan of the DP process and feel everyone who truly wants to be a part of it (with good intentions) should get the chance to experience all aspects of it. SunnyOne has got to have the experience already and it is my hope that Korrin may get that chance this telling. Best of luck Korrin ;)

Mharcus: Just to clarify. I did not vote for Korrin just to give someone new a chance. I felt you were both a good choice equally and picked Korrin so she would get to experience something you already got to (that is if she wins the ballot).
