Guilds/Festivals
The Festivals Guild has been established for the pursuit of the Test of Festivals.
The Guild is located at: 1373, 2942 in River Plains.
Membership is open. Apply at guildhall.
Festival Requests List
To participate in a Thoth festival, you will need:
- Testing materials for Thoth : Papyrus Paper (pillars), Candles (foci)
- Thoth ambrosia are made with ink and wine. The wine must be two vintages old, contain at least 10% alcohol, and include a particular flavor. Extra flavors are acceptable.
- Premade ambrosia are available in the small boxes behind the Thoth chest at 1391, 2932. We believe that sufficient ambrosia have been prepared, but they are "first come, first served". Please test early and pick up your ambrosia ahead of time!
The festival for Thoth will be Saturday November 26, at 3 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. UTC.
To participate in a Bastet festival, you will need:
- Testing Materials for Bastet : Honey (pillars) Camel Milk (foci)
- Ribbons and ambrosia: pick up at festivals main cp, Bastet chest (1400, 2932)
- Ribbon coloring instructions: http://www.atitd.org/wiki/tale7/Ribbon
- Bastet ambrosia are made with: aromatic honey and camel milk
- Altar set up: 21 Jugs of Camel Milk, dropped individually
- Oops! Wearing the wrong ribbons? If both ribbons are incorrect, there is an option in your Utility menu to Remove ribbons. There is no confirmation, and both ribbons are destroyed. If only one ribbon is wrong, a third ribbon can be worn and Bastet will be pleased.
The festival for Bastet will be Sunday November 27, at 3 p.m. EST, 7 p.m. UTC. If you are participating in the Saturday (Thoth) festival, please do not test for Bastet until after you have pleased Thoth.

Rituals Summary
Each God requires a different ritual, which typically includes:
- Sacrificing a specific Ambrosia
- After having completed a specific action or personal preparation
- Within a specific setup around a common altar (or spirit brasier, for Ra).

*Ra ambrosias are sacrificed on a Spirit Brasier, not the common altar.
1 - Because Glass Torches are a permanent fixture, many regions will have a set location already prepared for this ritual. Be sure to bring 10 oil per torch you are lighting.
Determining Festival Requirements
Once you have started the test at a University of Worship, you and a partner need to go to any Common Altar. Each God requires two different items, and each partner must have one of each to complete the ritual.
NOTE: Left/right represent the statue's left/right for all altar rituals. Easiest way to ensure success is to stand behind the alter and facing it. Then your left/right is the same as the statue's.
- Person 1 puts item A on the left pillar.
- Person 2 puts item A on the right pillar.
- Person 1 puts item B on the left focus.
- Person 2 puts item B on the right focus.
- Person 1 meditates
- Person 2 meditates.
Both players will then be told what they need to do to please the God.

Materials are not consumed and can be removed once each player has received their instructions.
Everyone receives different instructions, so all people wishing to participate in a festival must do this ritual. If you successfully please a God in a festival, your requirement for all Gods will change, so it's often best to bring supplies and re-test at the festival altar.

Ambrosia made of beer and oil. Seems to require a three-adjective beer of a malt-derived flavor (banana, barley, cherry, cinnamon, date, honey, nutmeg, or orange).
