Yield
Onion yield seems to be entirely location based, with different players achieving the same yield at the same location regardless of gender, avatar, or time of day. Onion yield has been shown to be halved when there are others nearby. The minimum yield per onion harvest is 4. The highest recorded onion growing location is the Magic Onion Patch (see discussion) discovered by Sonny at (-30, -1975) which yields 19 per seed.
Update: 24 onions per seed at (-80, -545) in Khmun.
