Incomplete Cheatsheet

PLEASE read the T3 notes FIRST

• Make sure you have the Init to Worship Tab
• Make sure you have a beetle between you
• If you do not have a sponsor who already has Ritual Torch Construction, use that skill to satisfy the Thoth requirement
  • Tuition: 10 linen, 200 firebricks, 100 oil
• Otherwise, we've been using Structural Maintenance, but any cheap skill will do
  • Tuition 20 oil

  • !NEW! The torch is CONSUMED, so no public ones this tale. SALVAGE advised AFTER you zap

The technique

The most efficient way to do this is to split up. A Sponsor (recommended) should build the torch for you and make it public or guild it (and then salvage after the pass). If a 2nd Sponsor is available (optional), they should help with all the actions.

• Pick a Chanter (#1) and a Performer (#2). IMPORTANT: The Performer is the one who learns the skill.
• The Chanter (#1) initiates the ritual per the T3 wiki and then runs to the torch spot, lights the torch, and then runs back to the altar, while chanting these phrases in Main.
  • Praise Horus, King of Egypt!
  • Praise Thoth, the Magician who created Science!
  • Praise Isis, whose seed is forever fertile!
  • Praise Bastet, who teaches grace and elegance!
  • Praise Amun, who gives us reason to celebrate!
  • Praise Osiris, who was Reborn like the Scarab!
• The Performer (#2) follows the Chanter's lead and then initiates all the ritual actions other than lighting the torch, and returns to the altar with this chant in Main
  • Praise Ra, of the Blazing Eye!
• Then the Chanter initiates the Ritual Close and you zap
• If you have a Sponsor, you can usually get the Init of Six (Seven) intro from them and you and your partner can do the Init of Worship Intros and you both pass the Harmony Intro (if you have the tabs ready to go).
