How to obtain: Pepper seeds are obtained from presents from the 2008 Christmas event and the Phoenix' Race.

Yield

The best recipe seems to change each day, but is the same for all players

"Peppers require just the right amount of water to grow best." 1-1-1-1-1 = 8 peppers 1-2-3-4-5-6 = 9 peppers

I tend to water 1-1-1-2-2-2-2-3-3-3 for roughly 15-21. Also, make sure you plant seeds in a different patch of dirt each time, plants yield better in fresh soil. Euripedus

No method confirmed for Tale 4

My totally unconfirmed suspicion is that it's related to rare herb gathering. I was never able to reproduce a seed for peppers on shard A, but just recently did once on shard B. I also recently gathered several rare herbs on shard B that I don't recall ever gathering on shard A. Just a theory :) -Panya/Hikahi

Reproduced a seed twice

i narrowed things i have done both time

mine iron( OE3, 5 yield / pull, both mine are kinda good gem producer, so might be triggered by gem mining )

get to 1k carry ( 1 time i was only carrying iron ore, other time i had a mix of beettle, sheep, ore )

Not having +carry, food or natural (Orrin)

eat grilled peppers -Nope (Orrin)

unload in warehouse

pick seeds and jugs ( one time it was water in jugs, other time jugs i had to fill )

go to 819 -2949 in meroe ( time was different ), its a small patch of dirt surrounded by sand and water.

watering : 7 then always 1

1st time i got 11 + 2 seeds, 2nd time 12 + 2 seeds ( 2 char different )

This specific location is not special all the time, if ever. I planted at random times then watered 7-1-1-1-1-1-1 and got a different number of Peppers and 1 seed. Based on the returns provided by other players, time of day may have a lot to do with extra seed return and Pepper count. - Darkfyre
