..."And so, the story begins!"

This is what I told to everyone (E!) after passing the Welcoming Island. But, the only thing I could see was crowded compounds. I guess it was a guild, which could have or haven't helped me out... since there was only one person, and that person was afk. So I grabbed my bag, and headed for the Chariot. I've opened my map and checked out where I was. The region I was in was actually Queen's Retreat. Since my objective was to search for a nice and peaceful place where to live, I gave it a try. So I picked up a random route and followed it in search of a home.

Queen's Retreat

Queen's Retreat seemed to be a peaceful place. Maybe because, at that hour, America goes to sleep and Europe wakes up? But let's focus on the journey. After a few minutes of walking trough the "green desert" and looking around, I've found a very nice place...

...but there is a problem: the place is not suitable for building compounds inside the circle. So I moved on. While on my way to the second place, I've found out that, in the area of this place, there were some nice neighbours.

BBJPBQR.jpg

Yes. I know. This isn't a suitable place at all to set up a compound... but, it's a good place to set up a small party.

BBJPCQR.jpg

This could have been a good place to set up my camp, but it's not really impressive...

BBJPDQR.jpg

I know...It's unsuitable for building a camp there from all the points of view.

BBJPEQR.jpg

It could have been a great place to set up a camp there...if it only had a source of water with a fountain in the middle of it, because the next source of water is about 300 coords away.

Falcon Bay

Arrived in Falcon Bay, I was welcomed by a large amount of flowers. But, unfortunately, I couldn't stay admire them, because, I had a journey to continue.

After walking a bit, I've found two interesting places...

...but, they didn't please my eye. So, I walked for about 15 minutes, and I've found an abandoned camp...

BBJPCFB.jpg

...it is nice indeed, but, for my requirements, I guess it's way too far from the chariot.

Comparing with Queen's Retreat, Falcon Bay doesn't really seem to have many beautiful places.

End of my journey - Khmun

From the first time I arrived here, I lost my hope of finding a nice place. "A beautiful place in the middle of the desert? *hmph*"

But believe it or not, even I got surprised when I found this place...and from just 1 shot!

BBJPAKH.jpg

What? There's already someone living there?... But when I got closer and hoped... it happened! The player would have turned ECA-ed in just 10 days from my arrival! That means, I could have that place all for myself! So I mounted my flag (actually, they were flax beds), and, looking on the map, I saw a similar place, just a little bit of north.

But, unfortunately, I got disappointed by the number of mines (and a oven) that was covering the beautiful place. So I had to retreat myself to the place I set up my flag, and stay there, till today!

A few weeks after...

...I settled down my camp in Khmun at -1451, -429, while mining Silver with kuupid, I've saw something very interesting on the map. A very interesting place that I haven't saw before. It was, really nice hidden by the mountains which surrounds it. So I headed there, just by curiosity, to see what's there. After a few minutes of walking, I finally got to the entrance of it. There was a crack between the mountains that was leading into the middle of the paradise I just discovered. It was such a nice sensation... I finally felt like...home! I didn't care about the size of the island inside it, I didn't care about the minimal resources display (like wood, sand, clay). It was important for me that I was finally feeling...home.
