Estimated Ideal Values Based on data from past tales, a tree's fruit is determined by taking the sum of the squares of the differences between the tree's attributes and each fruit's ideal attributes. (Much like how paint colours work).

These are ideal calculated values based on user data. Your results may vary.

Species Color Sweet Size Length
Citron 550 400 500 900
Coralfruit 800 400 600 350
Corian 250 650 600 400
Grapefruit 530 400 800 500
Lemon 400 300 400 650
Lenat 300 500 500 350
Lime 100 200 400 650
Mandarin 900 600 400 400
Orange 750 800 600 500
Pummelo 500 500 900 500
Sumerbell 850 700 300 500
Tangelo 650 800 500 650
Tangerine 800 750 500 350

Once a fruit is determined, the adjective is based on the attribute that is the farthest from the ideal.

Citrus Tree Breeding

Those fruits with the most extreme values in a category will tend to be the more difficult to find, especially if you also want the attribute that is higher still (for example, Reddish Mandarin will be even harder to find than Greenish Mandarin, Sweet Tangelo will be harder to find than Tangy Tangelo).

Highlighted are the fruits with the Highest (purple) and Lowest (yellow) ideal values for each attribute. However, due to the starting attributes of the default fruits, fruits with low color and sweet values tend to be easier to find than fruits with high color and sweet values. Mandarins, Tangerines, and Summerbells tend to be the most difficult fruits to find.
