Shady Works

Shady Works is a public works guild for the Desert of Shades, headquartered very near the DoS CS @ -948, 2098. All buildings in the works are public use. Donations welcome at the labeled warehouse next to the Guild Hall. We focus on individual buildings or groups of buildings that are infrequently needed, and hence useful to have shared in a central location.

Other Public Buildings in Desert of Shades

These buildings are not run by Shady Works but are listed here for convenience sake.

Near Shady Works:

  • Water Mine @ -968, 2077 (across the road from the Shady Works CP). Best pitch angle found so far is 23.

Northeast of the CS:

  • Public Iron, Copper, and Tin mines with nearby smelters @ -843,2521.

Eastern DoS, around 100, 2850 (Silver Star Traders)

  • Silver Star Traders Public Accessible Buildings
  • Limestone Auger @ -105,2585. Please start going again after you take Limestone/Soda.
  • 'Public' Steam Shovel @ 33,2740 (in quotes because the shovel isn't public, just the mats from it are put in a warehouse next to it). Intended primarily for DoS residents and newbies getting started.
  • A series of Aqueduct Towers with at least one for each stat, and bonuses for growing carrots, garlic, and onions.
