It's easy to focus on a single stat and blast it with high pairs, but you will have a horrible negative effect on other stats. Meals with focus on two stats can be easy if the pairs are positive for each stat, or using pairs like in the above example that don't have such a negative effect. Making meals with 3 positive stats you have to get pairs that don't hurt each other, which is sometimes very hard to find.

I highlighted 12 or better increases. Highest I've seen is 14.. so assuming you could find all +14 pairs.. you should be able to get over +30 on a meal with 5 or more pairs. Below in the meal section is the endurance meal with 27. The pairs were all over 11, maybe only one was 14.. and the speed has positive points so I'm thinking it's possible to get a +30 meal with cooking 5, using great stat pairings.

Cooking

I've tested many pairs and found some odd ones. One thing that does stick out in the single pair food is the ratio of positive stats to negative ones. Bad pairs do more harm than good. An average pair would be even, then you have the ones that increase multiple stats with only one negative.

Heres a few examples good pairs.

First example is a little greater on the positive. Second pair has two evenly affected stats, and an additional +9 with no negative. Third pair is an even change of positive and negative.

These examples I would consider good pairs because of how it affects the stats.

My conclusion is the best pairs out there have little negative impact, but they require uncommon things to make, so use them sparingly.

Single Pairs

I highlighted 12 or better increases. Highest I've seen is 14.. so assuming you could find all +14 pairs.. you should be able to get over +30 on a meal with 5 or more pairs. Below in the meal section is the endurance meal with 27. The pairs were all over 11, maybe only one was 14.. and the speed has positive points so I'm thinking it's possible to get a +30 meal with cooking 5, using great stat pairings.
