Yes, I'm running for DP. And what good would a campaign do if I woundn't have a campaign song? [[User:Usi_Bastet/Tadpoles | Check it out by clicking here]].  :)

Personal

Hi all, this is my personal page.

I'm Usi. I was born in Shabbat Ab on the Bastet Shard, on the first day of this tale. My RL partner in crime & love is also the same as in Tale: Mesi (we got married in Tale on March 3rd, 2010).

In order to work on proving that we were worthy of being a citizen of Egypt, we moved to a quieter area, called Stillwater, about 15 minutes walk north of the Shabbat Ab area where we first landed. Currently we still have a modest camp just a bit east of the (still crumbled) chariot stop of SW, on the west bank of the river Nile.

But regardless of where we were 'born' or where we have our main compound, we consider ourselves to be Egyptians above any other regional title.

Connections and Guilds

We have our own guild, based in Stillwater, by the name of 13 Rock. This guild aims at helping out new players, in any way, shape or form we can. Currently that is by providing them shelter, resources and a place to work. In the meantime we teach them the skills to survive in a harsh land like Egypt, and to keep up with the never-ending technologies that are invented/discovered.

Other than that, I'm in a few more guilds, such as Still Waters Run Deep (a SW based research guild), Camel Sands (a SA based research and public facilities guild) and B! Moderators (a guild aimed at organizing moderation of the B! chat channel). More about that last one below.

Trading

More information about trading opportunities will be posted soon. Building up stockpiles as we speak.

Usi Talk Radio Show

As mentioned before, I'm also a moderator for the B! Egyptian wide chat channel. The B! microphone was auctioned off on Sunday, February 28th and landed in the hands of Shinjaki, who organized moderation in cooperation with the Camel Sands guild and other individuals.

Since the start of my moderatorship at B!, I've done a few 'Talk Radio' style shows in B!. And we have plans to expand on this idea, and make them regular events. More information will be posted in the B! chat channel in-game.

Contact

If you need me, please feel free to /chat me in-game anytime. I will replay as soon as possible.

If you happen to see me online, that doesn't always mean that it's actually me. It might be my lovely wife Mesi, logged in as me (as spouse) or running me on a 2nd computer as a mule, doing boring chores. Our timezone is CET (Central European Time), which is 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time, and 6 hours ahead of game time (east coast USA). I'll mostly be online during our evenings (afternoons in USA). Just to keep in mind in case you want to contact me.

However, Mesi knows about everything I do in the game, so if there's anything urgent, you can always talk to her as well.
