Welcoming Island. Location- middle of an ocean. The starting point for your adventures in Egypt. This page provides a brief introduction to the island.

What to look out for

  • statues of Pharaoh Pharaoh passed on at the beginning of this telling. his sons fight to become successor but his spirit lives on in the aid he gives to Egypt. You need to click on these as they give help and tips. Other guidance can be found on temporary steles and signs.


People you may meet

Mentors Ah, mentors. Tend to be players who have made it to the 'mainland' and have become sufficiently experienced. They are there to help new players. Mentors are people who wish to help you and also who wish to try and pass the test of mentorship.

Fellow starters You may begin on the island by yourself, but rest assured that there will be somebody is the same situation as you. and they just might turn up. Chat to them. Hekp each other. Even if they do not speak the same language as you, common ground may be found.

Developers and Game Masters Not exactly sure how often developers appear on Welcoming Island. But Game masters are players who manage and help the developers.
