Meals in ATiTD can be made from hundreds of different ingredients .  These include over 250 herbs, 35 different mushrooms, fish, vegetables, meats and even odd things like dead ants.

To make a meal, you need to train the [[cooking]] skill at a [[School of Worship]].  There are seven levels of training available and it's good to eventually learn all seven.  Basic cooks should learn at least the first four skill levels.

  • Cooking Training: Yes, I can train you to cook. You don't even need to come to my camp. But you will need to have some herbs, some food bases (vegetables and camel meat and mutton, etc) and the ability to chat me while also looking at webpages. In particular, I'll refer you to Arame's wonderful coordinates table and [| Dachannien's great webtool]. Chat me when you have your kitchen and materials ready and we'll talk about the basics of cooking.
