Sinai's Deep Well is located @

Operations

Please always make Elders aware of when you wish to use the Deep Well so that we can avoid scheduling conflicts. We will try to list scheduled winds on this page so that everyone can check them.

The Petroleum Stockpile
We (Elders of Sinai Projects) will keep a large stock of Petroleum on site.
There will be two ways for anyone to get petroleum from these stocks.

1: By coming to the deep well and winding it to the tension needed to get your desired amount of petroleum.

  • Chat an Elder and let them know when you plan to wind.
  • Expect to have to repair the well when you arrive, the cost is 50 leather and 50 oil.
  • An example of this, if you want the full 600 petroleum from a full wind, you would come and wind the well to 100 tension. A guild elder will then set the well to private while the petroleum accumulates and will give you the 600 petroleum right then and there. Then we will just replace our stocks after the well has finished running 100 minutes later.
  • This allows you to wind, get your petroleum and go back to whatever you want to do. (See note on Public Use below)

Note on Public use

The Deep Well will also be available for Public use as long as it is not accumulating petroleum which others have wound for or if it is not scheduled to be used by someone at a specific date and time. If no Elders are available we cannot switch the well to private to protect your accumulations, wind at your own risk in those cases or stay until the petroleum has been drilled. As always, expect to have to repair the well when you arrive.
