Akhetaton's introduction to Grade Six players.

Welcome to Egypt

Don't forget these main things:

  • Easy harvest of wood and other items:
    • ESC -> Options -> One-Click and Related -> Enable the first two, and last two options.

  • Examine plants
    • Find thorns:
@ 1093/-3790 there are nine plants and trees, of them five are important.
Two Towering Palm Trees, 1 Mini Palmetto, 1 Date Tree, 1 Spoky Yucca (Thorns).
Having players plant saltpeter here may be a good idea?
    • Examine plants #2:
@ 1005/-3814 (entrance to the Beetle Garden) there are more trees, plants and thorn bushes. Hopefully the players will find the Thorn bush and see there are some inside on the island that makes the beetle garden and grab some.
      3 Fern Palm's, 2 Butterleaf Tree's, 1 Corpse Weed (Throns) 3 Plant life.
Now might also be the time to say that Egyptian's don't really need to examine the plant life, thou if they do see plants they never seen before, to go up to it and click on it to find out more about it.
      • While its not needed for experienced players, examination of the plants is a good thing.

  • Flax production:
    • What happens if we let weeds grow on a flax bed? What happens when we remove weeds from a flax bed?

After Welcoming

Projects:

  • Skills, Pottery, Project Management;Rank 1, F3 map and team work:
    • This is where the intelligence of the players can start to be tested.
Running a group up to School of Thought and telling them they need to get 10 clay can see if they will share their Jug, or get the clay themselves.
On the return trip (cos they are RUNNING ;-]) we can tell them it might have been quicker to have given the Jugs to one person and that person gets the groups clay and once gotten, that person gives the Jug back.
      • Pottery: 10 Clay
      • Project Management;Rank 2:2 Canvas, 6 Rope

  • Technology, what is Project Management;Rank 1, Animal Husbandry, and their project:
    • Collecting Animal Husbandry for the players is going to be their first good Technology.
      • Camel Den Project
        • 25 Flax : 25 Rotten Flax : 1 Canvas, 4 Rope : Small Construction Site.

        • 200 Boards : 200 Wood : 40 Slate : 20 Stone Blades : Camel Den.
        • 400 Bricks : 136 Straw : 68 Sand : 204 Mud : Camel Den.
          • Animal Husbandry: UoWorship
