Bastet Bill on Expansion of Demi-Pharaoh Powers
We of Egypt propose the following to allow our Demi-Pharaohs to more efficiently assist in resolving the disputes that arise within our borders.
1. In order to encourage the use of temporary rather then permenant bans when appropriate: This law will make escalated bans, from the same DP, placed on the same character, all count as one Ban in regards to the 7 limited bans a DP has. Example: If a DP bans me for a day, then a week it is still 1 ban and so on .
2. In order to allow an alternative to the ban when a DP wishes to allow for discussion with and among the parties a DP shall be able to temporarily arrest a character.
While arrested the character will be:
- frozen in place and unable to move or travel in any way
- unable to interact with anything in their environment.
- only able to speak with a DP or someone who a DP specifically allows them to talk to.
A DP can:
- arrest a character for a maximum of 2 (logged in) Teppy hours.
- arrest a specific character a maximum of 2 times an Egypt week or 4 times an Egypt month.
- arrest a maximum of 4 characters an Egypt month.
Any DP may release the arrested character at any time.
When an arrested character is released or time expires they will immediately be able to move and chat normally.
An announcement shall be made to Egypt whenever a DP arrests a character.
In no way shall an arrest use one of the DPs 7 limited bans.
This Law shall not be implemented until there are two elected DPs in the land.
