News

Please note the atitd.net server is likely to be shut down soon (and then atitd.net will point to here)
- if you wish to copy content from private wikis or the forums, please do so soon
For more info, see http://atitd.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=65&p=236

Current Events

Please see the Current Events page for recent developments in Egypt.

How to Log In

If you have problems logging in, please contact FaceAnkh or JulianJaynes ingame (or just FaceAnkh by IRC, forum PM, etc).

Before you can log in you must set your webpass in game: Log into the game and type /webpass atitd.org <password> (meaning you replace <password> with your password. Don't type the < > unless you really want that in your password) .

Once you have created a web pass you log in here with "Login with OpenId" (top right).

Your open id is atitd.org/openid/<Name> (without the <>).

You should be sent to a page to then type in your account name and password you set in game with the webpass command. If you logged in to openid recently, it won't ask again.

Using the Wiki

Tale 4 Live has started and so has the Tale 4 wiki. Please add comments on other problems with the wiki or other co-hosted sites at Server Improvements.

This wiki exists to document the game and to provide a community scratchpad for the players. You can find guides on things such as growing Flax, an Atlas of interesting places, and various personal pages created by the Users and Guilds. If you're looking to buy and sell, try Trading.

Anyone with an ATITD game account can edit any page on this site. However, please read the Style Guide and information on Formatting first. Politics are not welcome (exception: Users pages, but no personal attacks please) -- if you want to discuss laws, please use the Forums. Please read our Policies before editing. If you have any difficulties, please contact a wiki admin.

If you have a suggestion for how to improve the wiki, please add it to the Suggestions page. If you want to contribute but don't know where, take a look at the Spotlight page, or just browse around and look for pages where your input would be beneficial.

Improving the Wiki

Right now, there is only a fraction of the content on the new wiki that was on the old ones. If you can spend even a few minutes adding a little something, that would be a big help. Starting here, for example.

Also, the new software is a little different than the old wikis, so things may be a bit rough until we all get used to it. Anyone that's familiar with editing Wikipedia should feel at home, however.

You can also find the old (public) Tale 1-3 wikis at:

also note that copying links from the old wiki may bring unwanted attention to your user or guild pages ... everyone has access to the special search pages, some of which highlight broken links

Firefox Search Plugin

At the time of writing the Plugin I use is not yet listed on the 'Public' list, and I am not sure it will show up

Firefox (FF 2+ possibly IE 7+) users can install an OpenSearch search box to their browser. For details visit Browser Search Plugins

Getting Help

Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
