  • The Pharaoh’s Path to the Stars by Sharae

Build a model of the Giza pyramid site.

In our land it is held that the dead kings became the god Osiris after their death. The pharaoh is dead and it is time to send him on his way to the World of the Dead. Since each person had one star soul, each dead pharaoh becomes one star of Orion, thus the pyramids must placed in a way to represent the specific star the pharaoh is to become. Since the Egyptian World of the Dead was located in the sky, the placement of the pyramids represented the most important stars for them. This god had a stellar representation, the constellation Sah (Orion).

At the beginning of the test you are given a set of coordinates at which you must build 3 pyramids corresponding with the 3 stars in Orion’s belt. Two of the pyramids are to be equally tall and a smaller one which is only 50% of the height of the other two. Each of the 3 pyramids is to have progressively more elaborate building materials and decorations. Once the Pharaoh’s Tomb is completed a Huge gem is placed at its center symbolizing the soul of the entombed pharaoh. If all requirements have been correctly completed a beam of light will shine from the center of the tomb to the heavens indicating the pharaoh taking his rightful place among the stars and the student passes the test.
