How it works*

Players can attunes to a certain mushroom type at a school of body by paying an offering of common mushrooms.  A 'fungus finder' is then able to be assembled using a sharpened stick, cactus sap, twine, and 'fungus salve'.

A player creates 'distilled mushroom' in a chemistry laboratory.  The level of the laboratory would create more units of 'distilled mushroom'.  Level 0 - 25 level 1 - 50, and level 2 - 100.

Once attuned to a certain 'mushroom fungus' players can create 'fungus salve' using 'distilled mushrooms' and other various chemical ingredients in a chemistry laboratory.  The salve will have a quality rating, and through experimentation of the recipe players can improve the quality.  A salve will require no more than 10 units of 'distilled mushroom'

'Fungus finder' tools will eventually wear out over use.  The quality of the 'fungus salve' applied to the tool on creation dictates the number of uses it will have before wearing out.

While a player has a 'fungus finder' in their inventory they will have an option in the skills menu that will allow them to track the fungus of mushrooms.  This skill uses the perception and focus skills with a medium to heavy timer.  For those of migratory nature this will be a trail that degrades over time and the higher rank they have in botanical identification, the easier it will be for them to find trails that are older.

Ran the route today from the Oxy fish shrine to the 9 limestone shrine in Shabbat Ab - total was about 2 hours even, though I did stop to talk to someone in Still Water for a few minutes, but also missed the Garlic shrine in Sinai, so that about evens out.  We'll need 21 glass pipes and a lot less cabbage as it seems they decided glass pipes were more important than cabbage here in SW ><  We can skip the 2 Glass pipe shrine if we don't get enough ash / potash donations.  Digging up all of that limestone will be enough work perhaps.

With route running at 2 hours to run, and estimate of 5 minutes spent at each shrine that puts the total time to 3.5 hours. We may cut out a shrine or two in Sinai if people don't want to spend that much time on this.  Feedback appreciated!

Hello everybody.
