Egyptian Transportation Improvement Act – Part 1 (Roads)

  • This will allow the upgrade of roads in each region.
  • Each region will be divided into a grid. Small regions 9 areas, Medium regions 15 area, and large regions 21 areas.
  • Each of these regions main roads (red roads on the map) will be able to be upgraded to 4 different levels; slate/brick/tile/concrete.
  • Depending on the easiest way to implement this each area will have a donation drop off (a Building/Warehouse set-up either by the game developers or a one that is required to be build before donations are available in that area) or else you can donate at the chariot stop to the area you want to upgrade (a pop-up window with a map of the region and a button for each area in that region).
  • Each area will require X number of resource to improve the road, where X is determined by the Devs as a reasonable amount to improves the roads. (ie – if there is only 100 cords of road in that area the requirement would be less than an area with 200 cords of roads)
  • After each upgrade the road will become easier to run on, meaning a bonus to run speed will be give on the roads in that area. (slate 1-2.5%, brick 3-4.5%, tile 5-7.5%, concrete 8-10%)
  • Once an area has completed the needed donation for each stage of upgrade the roads will have one Egyptian week of construction. During this time they will give no speed bonus at all.

Egyptian Transportation Improvement Act – Part 2 (Chariot)

  • This will allow the creation of a second Chariot to help with traffic needs.
  • To create this chariot a one time donation of silver/wood/treated boards/iron/steel/bearings/canvas/linen/rope will be needed at the regions Chariot Stop. (These amounts are to be determined by the Devs)
  • This New Chariot will reduce all travel times from the Chariot Stop by 5 minutes.
  • To maintain this second chariot a monthly donation of silver, treated boards, and steel (amount should be not be more than 5-10% of base cost for the chariot)
  • If the Monthly donation is not met the second chariot bonus will not be applied to the travel time. Also if more than three months pass with no maintenance
