Saturday April 4th. Chat me if you have questions
The Gypsum dig will take place in Khmun and start promptly at 2PM EDT (6PM GMT). Food will be provided. Please bring your own shovel. The dig will last about one hour and all mediums, cuttables and gypsum will be divided equally at the end of the dig.
The Bauxite dig will take place in Sinai and start promptly at 4PM EDT (8PM GMT). Food will be provided. Please bring your own shovel. The dig will last about one hour and all mediums, cuttables and bauxite will be divided equally at the end of the dig.
The cement stir will take place in Saqq and start approximately 6PM EDT (10PM GMT). Stir food will be provided. Anyone who attended the earlier digs will be asked to contribute some gypsum and bauxite towards the stirs. All other materials will be provided. Cement will be divided equally at the end of each stir. The number of stirs done depends on how many people attend the stirs. Each batch of cement can take as little as 5 minutes or as much as 45 minutes depending on how many stir.
Gravel smashing and concrete making will occur at the end of the stirs. Please bring your own sledgehammer. People who attended the earlier digs will be asked to contribute a medium stone toward smashing gravel. All concrete will be divided equally after it is made.
Saturday April 11th, 3PM EDT (8PM GMT): Quarrying 101, location to be determined
This course is designed for anyone who has never prospected or operated quarries before.
We'll go out into the desert and show you how to prospect for marble, build and operate a quarry. All marble will be divided among players. Please bring 30 slate each if you plan to attend.
Saturday April 18th, 3PM EDT (8PM GMT): How to learn to love your reactory
This course is designed for people who are new to reactories and who are still having problems with them. Basic reactory techniques will be explained and demonstrated via hands on training. The course takes place in Saqqarah @ 751, -1667. If you are experiened with reactories and can already get yields of 5+, then this course won't help you. But if reactories still give you headaches and you usually just wind up with 0-2 alloy, then this course should help.
We'll make alloys, lots and lots of alloys, or die trying. Please bring some stout, fern or towering palm resin to the class. All other materials provided. Alloys divided among players.
